I notice in my Facebook groups, a lot of times people are just stuck on what to make. They are tired of the same things all the time, but can’t think of something new. Or just have so much going on that they get overwhelmed with the thought of even just deciding. One of my favorite ways to decide what to make each week is by looking up the “National Days” for that week or month. They have a national day for almost everything it seems. As I’m writing this draft post, today is National Butterscotch Pudding Day. Tomorrow is National Fried Rice Day and National Pepperoni Pizza Day.
My meal plan starts on Wednesday because I plan a week at a time, and the ads for my local grocery stores come out on Tuesday with the new week’s sales starting Wednesday. Use what day works best for you.
Wednesday: Daddy picking up Domino’s
Thursday: Tuna Pasta Salad (box of Ranch & Bacon Suddenly Salad and can of tuna)
Friday: Slow Cooker Deep Dish Pizza
Saturday: Quick Chicken Quesadillas for National Quesadilla Day
Sunday: Oven Baked Beans and Pork Chops
Monday: Instant Pot Pastrami Sandwiches with Potato Salad
Tuesday: Instant Pot Goulash
