Meal Planning Wednesday

I meal plan on Wednesday because Tuesday is when the ads come out for my local grocery stores. Use what day works best for you.

Last week went pretty well. One of the things you need to have when meal planning is flexibility. Sometimes life happens and you can’t do what you had planned that night for whatever reason. Adjust and move on. That’s why you’ll find some of the same things on this week’s meal plan because I didn’t end up doing them last week. Flexibility for the win.

One example is last week I had planned on making a roast. Well, my teenager for some crazy reason has decided he no longer likes roast. So, instead, I shredded it and made it into sandwiches. He complained when he saw I was making a roast, but he got over it when it turned into sandwiches.

Another night, I was busy with a deadline, so we got fast food instead. I used to get fast food a lot and try not to much anymore. I try to have some quick freezer meals handy for those nights, but sometimes it is what it is.

Now on to this week’s Meal Plan…

Wednesday: Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans

Thursday: Pork Chops, Rice, Broccoli

Friday: Pizza – We almost always have pizza on Friday. Sometimes it’s homemade, sometimes it’s from the Walmart Deli take and bake, and sometimes it’s delivery. Whatever it is, pizza is always delicious. Am I right? :D

Saturday: Monte Cristo Sandwiches, Fries, Salad

Sunday: Goulash

Monday: Hamburger Steaks, Macaroni and Cheese, Green Beans

Tuesday: Rice and Hamburger Gravy, Green Beans
