I’ve noticed the weight goes up and down within a few pounds. This week I’m feeling REALLY good (other than seasonal allergies), but the scale shows no loss. At least it doesn’t show a gain either.
With the little things I’m doing, I’m feeling better, BUT it’s not showing on the scale. Now that the weather’s getting nicer, it’s time to get serious. I know part of my problem is the fear. It tends to hurt. And I have a hard time seeing pass that. My knees sometimes “go out” and I really don’t know how to explain it past that. But when I’m pushing myself physically, I can feel them aching and I get scared. So I back off. My back also has a tendency to strain, and I find myself laid up on the couch for a week or more. While I know that I need to build them up back up in strength, the memory of what I might end up doing to myself is more than I can handle. So I make excuses and put it off. Obviously that’s not getting me very far.
