Tell Me Thursday

I’ve been so crazy busy today on deadline, I almost forgot to tell you about my Wordless Wednesday post of yesterday.

On Tuesday Andrew’s class went on a field trip to a museum. I went with them. It was basically a dinosaur museum. The photo is of Andrew pretending the ancient shark was after him. We had a lot of fun. He about drove me nuts that morning while getting ready because he was very concerned we were going to be late getting to the school and they would leave without us. We arrived in time and then he was so cute on the hour ride to the museum. He kept giggling and saying, “This is so exciting!”

The museum even has a 3D movie theater where they show documentary type movies. We were able to watch one called sea monsters. Pretty freaky when those sea creatures appear to be swimming right over the top of you. Or when they’d show a shark or something going after another creature and it would look like they were attacking you! Andrew kept going back and forth between being a little scared and hitting at the creatures saying, “Stay away from my mom!”

My little protector.  :)

You can see more of the photos from the field trip here.

I’ve seen a 3D movie type thing once – years ago when I was at Disney MGM. Wish they had them around him. They are cool.

It sounds like (and looks like from all the pics I saw) Andrew had a blast. Looking at the pics made me want to go there. Glad to hear you guys had fun :-)

Field trips can be fun! I went to one with Hailey last year that wasn’t open to the public. It was a pretty neat place too!
