Using Coupons

i love couponing!

I’ve been testing the waters on this whole couponing thing. Today I went to the store to use up a couple that were set to expire this week. I also took with me one for the new Clairol Foam hair color which actually doesn’t expire until the end of the month, but I didn’t want to risk forgetting it because it was for a free bottle.

I got to the store and they had an in-store special on the product that was buy 2 and get a coupon for $3 off your next purchase. So I bought two plus used my one bottle free coupon. So I basically bought $20 worth of hair coloring for $7. Now I’m kind of excited.

I did miss the 30 cent in-store coupon for the biscuits that I had a regular coupon for though. Must do better next time!

I use quite a bit of coupons when I can, but I noticed a lot of the coupons that I can order online are mainly only for the US and I’m in Canada, so I noticed we are limited here. I’m amazed at the coupons available in the US and wish they were applicable here because I could save so much money. ~Cheryl :)

I just liked a coupon related page on Facebook today and noticed one of the wall posts was somebody complaining about the lack of coupons for Canada. I’ve seen that a few other times too. That’s too bad that you guys are limited. Hopefully they’ll wake up soon and see how great they are. Thanks for stopping by!
